Forty days
of build-up in
forty seconds.
The stage building itself. It's the video that works best with sponsors, with the authorities and on the festival's anniversary, and the one hardly anyone remembers to order in time.

Forty days of build-up told in forty seconds.
The video that shows how the festival was built.
Weeks of build condensed into seconds: the stage growing, the towers going up and the venue getting ready to open its doors.
It is the piece that works best with sponsors, with public authorities and on festival anniversaries, because it shows the work nobody sees. We shoot it with standalone cameras during the build and the strike, and deliver it in 4K with versions for social media.

REC · 4KHow we shoot it.
The timelapse is decided before the first truck arrives. If it is booked late, the build has already started and those images never come back.
- We choose the angles
We look for positions from which you can see the stage, the towers and the whole venue grow.
- Standalone cameras
We install self-powered cameras that shoot on their own throughout the build and the strike.
- Checks
We review the footage along the way so not a single day of work is lost.
- Final edit
We edit the video in 4K with music and versions for social media, sponsors and the festival website.

Timelapse: frequently asked questions
Not answered here? Call us on +34 622 290 586 or email info@linecam.es.
What can be recorded with a timelapse at a festival?
The full build of the site —the footage sponsors and authorities value most—, the arena filling up, day turning to night over the main stage and the de-rig. Each tells a different story and is shot with a different set-up.
Does someone need to watch the camera?
No. We install autonomous cameras with their own power and storage, protected against rain and dust, which can record for days without intervention. We do periodic checks to verify framing and condition.
How long is the final piece?
A festival build usually ends up between 40 and 90 seconds, depending on what needs telling. For sponsors we usually also deliver 15-second cuts for each build milestone.
Can it be combined with hyperlapse?
Yes. A fixed timelapse shows the passage of time; a hyperlapse adds camera movement and brings a different energy. At large festivals we usually combine both.
Is it also suitable for construction monitoring?
Yes, it's the same technology. For long-term construction monitoring we work with LapsePro, our line specialising in construction timelapse.
When does your build start?
Let us know in good time: the timelapse is decided before the first structure arrives on site.
