THE SERVICE
At LINECAM® we offer a complete security camera service for events with fully autonomous Starlink connectivity, designed for demanding environments where reliability, coverage and rapid response are critical. We deploy temporary and mobile video surveillance systems for festivals, concerts, fairs, sports competitions and any operation with large crowds, providing real-time images to command centres and operational teams.
Real-time video surveillance for coordination centres
Our system sends a stable, low-latency video feed to the Forward Command Posts, the festival's control centres and, where appropriate, to the police and emergency services. Operations are adapted to the event's security plan: monitoring entrances, perimeter control, evacuation areas, sensitive zones, backstage areas, car parks, technical areas and high-density points.
Starlink connectivity: total autonomy where the network doesn't reach
We install Starlink antennas with their own power and communications, ideal for sites with no network infrastructure, remote locations or rapid deployment needs. This keeps the service running even where 4G/5G is insufficient, the network is saturated or a dedicated channel is needed for the command centre.

How we set up the system.
Temporary cameras with their own Starlink connection: we do not rely on the venue network or on mobile coverage, which collapses as soon as the crowd arrives.
- Point map
Using the security plan we mark entrances, perimeters, evacuation routes, backstage and high-density areas.
- Installation
We place the cameras and the standalone Starlink link, with power and mounts designed for outdoors.
- Feed to the control room

What are security cameras at a festival for?
So the command post can see in real time what's happening at entrances, the perimeter, evacuation areas, the pit, bars, backstage, car parks and high-density points. It helps both to manage capacity and to document any incident.
What does Starlink offer compared with 4G?
Independence from the terrestrial network. At a festival with tens of thousands of people, 4G and 5G saturate exactly when they're needed most. With a dedicated Starlink antenna, the command centre keeps its channel even if the site's mobile coverage collapses, and it works just as well in remote locations with no infrastructure.
Can the feed be shared with the police or emergency services?
Yes, when the event's security plan provides for it. We deliver a stable, low-latency feed to the command post, the festival control centre and, where appropriate, the police and emergency services.
Is it a temporary deployment?
Yes. It's a temporary, mobile video surveillance system, designed to be installed and removed with the event. We handle the full cycle: installation, operation during the event, support and removal.
What about data protection?
Video surveillance at an event is subject to the GDPR and the applicable private security regulations. Together with the event's security manager we define the recorded areas, the mandatory signage, retention periods and who can access the images.
